It’s the feeling of ice cold water on your skin. It is the serenity of a dear friend or relative rubbing your back in long, slow circles. It is the heaviness of losing someone you care deeply about. It is the sweet, grainy taste of summer-fresh blueberries. It is the soft, airy sleep that cradles you after a long and tumultuous day. It is the cold drink of water filling your throat after a two hour hike uphill in the sun. It is the slow, lazy, full-throated sound of midnight jazz drifting out of apartment windows on a summer night as the heat of the day gives way to the slow-rising cool of nighttime.
